Payment terms
InJoyLC accepts payment by cash, credit/debit card through Stripe (HIPAA compliant), or PayPal, per your choice.
Payments are required at the time of booking for Home Visits or at the time of appointment for Clinic and Telehealth Visits.
Insurance coverage only applies to the consultation fee. Both mom and baby will be billed by insurance if both are present. A copay may be charged by your insurance company, depending on your plan. An additional travel fee will be required for home visits and will be confirmed at the time of booking in writing with the client. Travel fees are not covered by insurance.
Lactation Support Packages can be purchased on a payment plan, with the first payment made before the first visit or class. Payment plans are to be negotiated at the time of booking.
Rescheduled appointments can usually be accommodated at no extra cost.
Cancellation of appointments under 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee of $50.
Discounts are available for those qualifying for WIC and MediCal qualifying families.
If requested, a superbill can be provided that you can submit to your insurance provider. Reimbursement is based on individual coverage. Learn more about your rights for Lactation coverage under the Affordable Care Act here.
